In celebration of the eighth "China Brand Day," chinabeauty.cn, in collaboration with CCTV Brand China, released the "Top 100 Beauty Brands of China" list. This ranking, based on the retail sales of brands in 2023, provides a comprehensive overview of the performance of Chinese beauty brands throughout the year. PROYA, the flagship brand of PROYA Cosmetics, has secured the top spot with a revenue of 7.177 billion yuan, making it the first domestic beauty brand in China to surpass the 7 billion yuan revenue mark. Its subsidiary makeup brand, TIMAGE, ranked 45th with a revenue of 1.001 billion yuan.



Together, PROYA and TIMAGE's impressive performances in 2023 propelled PROYA Cosmetics to the top of the domestic beauty brand revenue chart, with a total turnover of 8.905 billion yuan, making it the first domestic beauty enterprise to surpass the 8-billion-yuan mark. PROYA's steady growth and brand strength are attributed to its unwavering commitment to its "hero products" strategy. In 2023, PROYA upgraded its core products in the Elastic Brightening and Deep Ocean Energy series, enhancing product efficacy, user experience, and sustainability. At the same time, PROYA continued to focus on channel strategy and brand marketing.


The "hero products" strategy has also been deeply integrated into TIMAGE's brand strategy, yielding remarkable results. TIMAGE has emerged as the second growth driver for PROYA Cosmetics. Starting with its hit product, the Tri-Color Flawless Correcting Concealer, TIMAGE has launched major items in the facial makeup category, including makeup primer and tri-color concealer. Financial reports indicate that TIMAGE's revenue reached 246 million yuan in 2021, marking a year-on-year increase of 103.48%. In 2022, the revenue soared to 572 million yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 132.04%. In 2023, revenue hit 1.001 billion yuan, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 75.06%, demonstrating the brand's strong vitality and market competitiveness.
